Christian McCaffrey ties Roger Craig for two 49ers records
Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Christian McCaffrey achieved a significant milestone during the Week 15 clash with the Arizona Cardinals, tying San Francisco 49ers legend Roger Craig for two franchise records.

McCaffrey reached a historical achievement with 100 yards from scrimmage against the Cardinals. The talented running back has now recorded 100 or more scrimmage yards in seven consecutive games within a single season, matching Roger Craig's franchise record set in 1988.

In addition to the last seven games, McCaffrey achieved 100 or more scrimmage yards in the season's first four games. This brings his season total to an impressive 11 games, matching another record set by Roger Craig in both 1985 and 1988 for the most such games in a single season.

Heading into the game against the Cardinals, McCaffrey already led the league with 1,177 rushing yards and boasted a league-leading 1,614 all-purpose yards, solidifying his status as one of the most dynamic weapons in the game. Undoubtedly, he will continue to make his mark on the 49ers' record books in the years to come.
